Beyond his legislative work, John has spent his career working on economic development and environmental issues, most recently as executive director of Maine Farmland Trust.
John lives in Unity with his wife Susan and children Anna (15) and John (13). He holds three degrees from M.I.T. (in engineering, public policy, and management).
I believe that all citizens should be treated equally before the law. I will vote for you in part because you support equal rights for all citizens. I hope that you and the Democratic Party will continue to support and push for equal rights for gay citizens and social justice for all Maine people. Thank you for your work in the legislature.
